The American is a pub and off beer & wine store located in Vancouver’s Strathcona neighbourhood focused on showcasing great local beers and unique cocktails alongside arcade, pinball games and sports. We are also home to the delicious Downlow Burgers.

The American is a liquor primary establishment with a family food service extension. We are 19+, so make sure you have valid photo ID on you. Minors are permitted on premises until 8PM given that they are supervised at all times and accompanied by a parent/legal guardian.
