The American is a barcade/sports bar and events space located at the intersection between Mount Pleasant, Strathcona and Chinatown in Vancouver, BC focused on showcasing great local beers and unique cocktails alongside delicious food cooked up by DownLow Burger. We also have a craft beer and natural wine store located at our front entrance for all your takeaway needs.
If you leave or lose a personal item during a visit to the bar please email info@theamerican.ca with a clear description of the item and we will do our best to get it back to you. We ask that you email us before coming down to retrieve your item as we may not have time to look for it during operating hours.
